We've been in California for about a week now. It has been sooooo wonderful...the weather is to die for, the food is great, the seafood is fresh, the people and family are inviting. This is a true vacation.
We stayed a few days in the mountains at Matt's parent's newly built beautiful custome home (can you say HEAVEN in the forest?), then just Matt and I drove to the coastal town of Monterey and had our romantic 2nd honeymoon. Our room was newly renovated, fireplace, flat screen tv, robes, SO nice. Then we drove to pick up all 3 boys (Bryce and Kaden were with their mom and Alec was with Matt's mom), drove up North to the Bay Area and saw my family. Unfortunately my mother and stepdad are out of town so we didn't see them but we enjoyed every minute with my dad and brother. Life is good in California. Pictures to come!
