Some questions I answered

I've gotten a lot of questions on my myspace account from friends and on here about my new job so here's some answers.
What was the hiring process like?
First you have an interview with the manager of the store you are applying at, then if they like you, you have an interview with the regional manager then if they like you then, you interview with a trainer at the free standing MAC inside Scottsdale Fashion Square inside a little room in the back that looks like a little studio. It's awesome. You bring in a model and have to replicate a look from a tear out of a magazine onto that model with the trainer watching and taking notes. VERY scary but also very thrilling. I was totally in my element. You also have to treat your model like they are a customer and you have to know all about MAC. They want to see you shine in your customer service.
When do I start?
The new training for MAC doesn't start til around December 5th so that's when I will start. My manager called me yesterday and said all the paperwork is in and "Congratulations, I am an official MAC employee"..... that felt really sweet!
Which MAC are you working at?
I am working at the new San Tan mall and the MAC counter is inside Dillards.
( The MAC at Nordstrom has a completely different hiring process because you are employed by Nordstrom, not MAC)
Are you working part or full time and what about your kids?
I will be working part time and Matt is out of work temporarily to heal his back. He has 3 herniated dics and is going to treatment, injections and rehab. Possible surgery in the future. So he can be with the boys while I work.
What kinds of perks do you get?
The perks at MAC are AMAZING! Believe me, they are like THE IDEAL company to work for.
