My beautiful cousin, Yasmine just got engaged and I couldn't be more happy! She's from Lebabon (between Syria and Israel). In the Middle East, they have huge engagement parties when someone gets engaged. Lots of festivities. I wish I was there. She and I have always been really close. Some of you may recognize her brother Jad. He was at my wedding. He just got married and lives in Dubai (U.A.E.)
My uncle Hilal (my dad away from home. Goofball too) who lives in Scottsdale, traveled there for Jad's wedding and Yasmine's engagement. I'm sooooo jealous.......She will make a beautiful bride. My dad couldn't go this trip but is totally planning on going to the wedding next Spring in Beirut and wants my fam to come. Can you imagine all of us whitey's in Beirut? Too funny!
Yasmine and her fiance'My uncle Hilal(her uncle too, not her dad) and her fiance'
Hilal and my dear Te-Ta (grandma). I seriously want to cry when I see this picture. I miss her soooo much!
Nerds. Hilal and Yasmine.
My cousins. Lara, Jad and Yasmine. Lara lived here in The States with my family in California and went to one year of High School back in like 1990.
I love you Yasmine and I am so happy for you! Congratulations!
Maybe its time.

Sarah, you are freaking me out with your hot new blog look and your funked out tunes! That is the cutest story about Kaden and planting the bread seed. He is so dang cute! There is an example of the wonderful rewards of being a mom - It is so fun to watch them learn and grow and to be such a huge part of that.
She is so beautiful....just like you Sarah:). Beauty runs in the family. I LOVE your new blog look. It is so adorable and I LOVE all the colors you used too.
Gorgeous family! I hope you get to go to the wedding Sarah. I know how much you love going over there and dancing up a storm with your cousins! :-)
Yes, she will make a beautiful bride! your family is sooo beautiful :) Weddings are so much fun especially when you get to see family again.
Holy cow, your family is Lebanese? So is Pace! That's why he's into learning Arabic... But yeah, his Grandfather on his Mom's side is 100% Lebanese. Kalaf is the family name. Interesting, huh?!
