Smooshy-mooshy love Day

Well Valentine's Day started out with Matt being really sick but going to work anyway. I made heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes for the boys for breakfast and we had fun decorating and coloring Valentine's cards. Bryce was at school and Alec wasn't that interested in the cards but Kaden sure was! I think he made a card for every single person he's ever known in his little 5 years of life.....including our dog Toby. kids are so funny.
Well Matt and I had plans to go to a really nice French restaurant at the Billtmore then stop by MAC and get me a couple things but his cold was just too bad. He ended up coming home from work early and sleeping til around 4pm then when our sitter came over, Matt loaded up on cold meds and took me local to Carraba's and a movie. That was fine with me. I would have loved the Billtmore date but going local is always nice, inexpensive and close.
The dinner was alright but the movie was crazy weird. Just being with my hubby was worth it though, him being sick and all. I'm just grateful and impressed that even though he was sick, he wouldn't let V-Day go by without a date. What a sweetie!
