Ok here's the scoop!

Lots of people are asking me how working at M.A.C. is going and let me tell ya, I'm sure it would be fantastic and wonderful IF DILLARDS WOULD JUST GET THEIR STUFF TOGETHER!!!! I was supposed to start yesterday but last Wednesday, my manager called and said that she was sorry but even though everything's all set with M.A.C. and I'm on the work schedule and they've got my M.A.C. jewelry ready for me and everything, because the M.A.C. counter is INSIDE Dillards, I still have to have a Dillards employee number and until then, I can't work. She was so irritated with Dillards too cause it is Christmas and BUSY and they only have a staff of like 8 and need MANY more and no one can work until Dillards gets all the numbers for the employees, no new one's can work. Ok, I know it's a brand new Dillards but come on!!!! Get it together! See, at the M.A.C. at Nordstrom, you work FOR Nordstom and the paychecks are from Nordstrom but at the M.A.C. inside Dillards, you work FOR M.A.C. so I don't understand all this needing a Dillards number and all BUT I guess patience is a virtue and I need to learn some! :) There is no estimate of when the number for me will be issued so I just have to wait. I need to remember my blessings. I am very grateful that I HAVE a job and am able to do what I love for a living. I know the Lord has truly blessed me and my family with this job.
