All Kaden really wanted for his birthday yesterday was to play with his brothers, open presents, eat chocolate chip pancakes, go to McDonald's to play and have a happy meal, eat cake and ice cream and for us to sing Happy Birthday. That sounded fine to us! It was a great day. I got a ton of decorations and he woke up feeling like a King...and he was one for a day!

Yesterday at McDonald's, Kaden tapped a little girl on the shoulder and when she turned around, he said very frankly while holding up his whole hand to show his fingers, "I'm 5!" then he and the little girl just walked away in opposite directions. In the 5 years and under world, that is a full on conversation and totally acceptable.....so funny!
Maybe its time.

WOW, Kaden is 5!! Holy Moly he is a big kid! How fun....so happy for him to get everything he wants for the day..it makes me want to have a birthday more than once a year!
Happy, happy Birthday Kaden dear!! I still remember when he was just a tiny, little tyke with a bowl haircut!! ;-) He is soooo adorable!
Side note...I miss you too! We are back finally! What a week! I will be in Phoenix on Monday. Maybe lunch?! I'll call ya!

Keith Urban is my BF! We went to his concert a few months ago and it was awesome! So, he is now my boyfriend. =)

Happy birthday Kaden!!!! How exciting that you are 5 now. That is so sweet that he wanted to spend time with his family for his birthday. Ry had her birthday party at Mcd's with friends this past week...it's lot of fun!
