50 things about me

1. I would rather go through labor 100 times over again than have as bad of morning sickness as I had with Alec
2. I believe in medical use marijuana but I wish it could be in pill form, not something you smoke.
3. Raising children are my best ongoing achievements
4. I love toxic smells, i.e; permanent markers, gasoline, dish detergent, cement paste etc...
5. I almost died when I was 9 from strep pneumonia. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks over Christmas and my mother and father were secretly dying inside but never showed me their fear.
6. My dad says he has never prayed so hard for something in his entire life than for me to live.
7. My mom never left my side and stayed with me every night.
8. Even though he's 1, I still check on Alec in his crib at least two times before I go to bed.
9. I am a strong opposer to gay marriage.
10. When I was 6 years old, I broke a really expensive crystal wine glass at a friends house and blamed it on her younger brother and I've had guilt about it ever since.
11. I have since found this boy on myspace.com and apologized.
12. He thought I was nuts but it was a good way to re-connect with him and his older sister.
13. Even if Matt says he'll get up with the kids on a weekend morning, I always end up doing it cause I love mornings with them.
14. Every day after school, I ask Bryce, "What was the funniest thing that happened today?"
15. Now, he can't wait to tell me everytime he gets in the car.
16. I was a really annoying little sister and I'm still really bossy. (Ask my husband)
17. I'm going to be in the "YES" section of the Arizona Republic on Friday, February 16, 2007. It's the fashion newspaper print magazine in the paper. It was my modeling debut. I'm not hooked on it but it was a fun experience.
18. I was semi-bratty to my stepdad the morning before he got in his fatal car accident and I feel very guilty about that but I think he has forgiven me.
19. I can't wait to see him again. I've never missed anyone so much.
20. My husband is an incredibly hard working and dedicated family man.
21. Makeup brushes and eye shadows from MAC are an obsession of mine.
22. I have an ongoing dream of 2 architectural things that I've created in my mind; #1, a part of nyc that I've never seen before, and #2, a house that I've never been to before.
23. When I was younger and wanted to be a veterinarian, my uncle told me if I go into this profession, he'll open me a clinic.
24. I'm an idiot for not becoming a veterinarian.
25. I've let my fear and hate of math keep me back from chosing the medical field as my focus of studies. I am so intrigued with the field and wish I would have given it a try.
26. I've been addicted to sugar since my pregnancy with Alec and it's been hard to kick ever since.
27. I am currently back in school after taking a 2 year break to be pregnant and raise my children.
28. My projected grad date if all goes as planned is May of 2008.
29. After I graduate, we'd like to possibly start to try to get pregnant again.
30. I am happy with what the Lord's plan is for us but I would really like to have a girl.
31. If we have a girl, we have already agreed on a name: Nadya Chloe Painter.
32. I love to watch old re-runs of Full House and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
33. I try to get a nap in when I can when Kaden and Alec are napping.
34. I'm not very good at doing laundry.
35. I once had a huge text book in a pile of laundry and picked up the whole pile, didn't sort the clothes, and stuck it in the washing machine and ended up completely demolishing my text book.
36. Even after nursing, my boobs have not gotten smaller and they are a neusance. 37. I'd love to get them lifted or reduced.
38. watching surgeries with guts and blood on the discovery chanel doesn't bother me.
39. Seeing a corpse does. I nearly puked after seeing my step grandmother in the open casket at the funeral home.
40. I get really annoyed with people who stare. I think it's rude. I once asked a man who was staring at me for like ever if I knew him and he said "no" so I asked him why he was staring at me then.
41. I'm pretty straight forward.
42. I wish I knew my brother better. He's my only sibling.He is a very funny person. We have a lot of the same humor.
43. My parents are very funny. I grew up with a lot of laughter and fun.
44. My childhood was perfect.
45. I've been to Egypt once, France 3 times, Sweden 5 times, Syria 3 times, Lebanon 2 times, Jamaica once, Mexico 2 times, and Hawaii 2 times and they were all vacations, not layovers in an airplane.
46. I only remember my mother yelling at me twice.
47. My brother Alain and I saw Santa Clause in his sleigh with the reindeer in the sky Christmas Eve when I was about 4. Ask my brother...
48. 80's songs bring back an explosion of memories everytime I hear them. My dad had music on all the time in the 80's. Good times.
49.I am claustrophobic.
