There are moments in your life where you feel like you missed out. Whether it be that you didn't get an email early enough to attend a friends fun get-together, or that you missed a once in a lifetime HUGE sale at your favorite store, or you realized you missed the deadline to sign up your 6 year old for fall football (Bryce has since moved on :), or that you missed when the musical "Wicked" was playing at ASU's Gammage auditorium just a few weeks ago and you've been wanting to see that musical for years now, but this time, I missed out on something that is giving me feelings that are not too pleasant. Children of all ages, Ladies and gents, cats and dogs, ghosts and ghouls, I missed one of my favorite rock bands, The FOO FIGHTERS playing for FREE at the Arizona State Fair last weekend. You heard right, it was free and yes, it was a weekend concert so Matt and I could have easily gone b/c our sitter is available every weekend. It would have been my 4th time seeing them in concert. I'll get over it but please people, don't mention this band to me for a long time so I can move on......
*please note: I am having a dramatic moment. I'm not really having a crisis over this................but I will be in hiding for the next 72 hours..... :)
Maybe its time.

I hear you on the "Wicked" musical. I'm dying to see that too. Maybe when Trey is older we can fly to NY for a day and see it and fly back.
Jamie, I am DYING to go to NYC. I need a once yearly trip there. So far, that has happened since 2002. I'm serious, I think when Trey is older and Landon too, you, Court and I need to go for a few days. Maybe Summer 07?
Oops, I signed in as a different blogger account. I have a special one with a girl I grew up with. It's not even a blog.
I noticed. I was like, who is this?
Wicked was fabulous! I only got to go because a friend of mine got pre-sale tickets. But I'm sure it'll be even better when you girls see it in New York.
Rachel, come with! I'm even thinking maybe we should all bring our little one's.
I could have gone to Wicked, but the tickets we would have been given were for a Sunday. How depressing is that.... And NY sounds fun, but I think it is a totally different trip with kids. It is either for them, or for us if we go without them. My vote is us...is that selfish? haha.
No not selfish. I say just us too! And we live it up! Shows, shopping, dinner out, that naked cowboy in Times Square......
Thanks-maybe I will. But Trent and I are planning on going next fall to see friends, so I'll probably get my fix. However, I haven't done a girls trip since I've been married. Could be fun!
