Alec and his 'toys'

We've converted Kaden's room into the office/guest room. (Who's brilliant idea was it to put Bryce and Kaden back together in the same room? Oh, mine. They don't sleep!) Anyway, while the new office/guest room is in the process of getting all put together, Alec is really enjoying crawling in there and trying to get on the mattress while he is holding his tube of antibacterial ointment. He is so much more interested in unconventional toys like ointments, a plastic lid to his baby food, envelopes, and remote controls than his actual baby toys. Oh and what is up with a baby's fascination with wires and cords? Baby proofing is a chore, let me tell ya! And the funny thing is, when he does play with his baby toys, he is only interested for about 2 minutes, but the unconventional ones? He could play all day with those. Something tells me he would have a lot more luck if he would just let go of the ointment tube.
